City may want to monitor Frimpong
With City needing a long-term successor to Walker, it would perhaps be wise for the club to keep tabs on Frimpong, who has become a serious player since leaving the Etihad.
Netherlands international Frimpong joined Celtic for around £350,000, and not a great deal was made of the sale at the time.
But he’s worked extremely hard and has been absolutely thriving this season under Xabi Alonso as a wing-back, and clearly has a lot of attacking quality.
With Pep Guardiola liking to push his full-backs high, perhaps Frimpong could be considered for a possible swoop later down the line.
